By using Chemistry Box ("the app"), operated and developed by Wordcork, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Educational Simulation Only

Chemistry Box is an educational chemistry sandbox. Bonding rules, reaction outcomes, equilibrium readouts, and lab measurements are simplified teaching models.

They are not quantitative predictions, safety assessments, professional chemistry advice, medical advice, engineering advice, or instructions for real laboratory work. Do not use the app to plan real chemical experiments, medical treatment, industrial processes, or safety decisions.

Health and Photosensitivity

The app includes brief bright particle effects when using tools such as Spark and Radiation, and during some reactions. If you or someone nearby is sensitive to flashing lights, use those features sparingly or avoid them.

Acceptable Use

You may use Chemistry Box for personal learning and experimentation in the virtual sandbox.

You may not:

You are responsible for complying with laws in your jurisdiction.

Local Data and Saves

Your saves and settings are stored on your device. Wordcork does not operate cloud saves for Chemistry Box. You are responsible for backing up important save data if you export it.

Third-Party Notices

Some app packaging and platform features use open-source components. See Chemistry Box Open Source Notices (https://wordcork.com/chemistry-box/licenses) for attribution and license information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordcork, as operator and developer of Chemistry Box, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you live in any U.S. state or territory, or outside the United States, including in countries in South America, the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights, privacy rights, or other legal protections that cannot be waived under the laws of your state, territory, country, or region.

Changes

Wordcork may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
